Jochen Magyar
Interior architect and furniture designer
Jochen Magyar is an interior architect and designer, and the founder of OKYO. He leads the studio and works with a team of interior architects.

Background
Jochen Magyar is a Belgian designer of collectible furniture and sculptural objects. His education spans art studies and spatial design, followed by interior and furniture design and studies in architecture. He further developed his craft through training in glassmaking at Atelier du Verre in Sars-Poteries, France, and furniture making at Casimir Ateliers in Antwerp.
Interior architecture
OKYO, since 2009
Jochen Magyar designs from a place of calm.
In 2009 he founded his interior architecture studio: OKYO. Today, together with his team, he realises unique complete projects, locally and internationally: private homes, but equally luxury boutiques and fashion stores, retail interiors, showrooms, restaurants and hospitality, hair salons, dental practices and pharmacies.
“For me, an interior is not a backdrop but a very important place in a person's life. It is where you live, work, rest, and where the finest moments with family and friends take place.”
